A Turkish lokanta generally offers home-cooked food in a canteen style environment. Kismet is a wonderful example of a lokanta and proves ever popular, so if you want to eat what the locals eat, head here for your lunch and work your way through the various seasonal options available. You choose from a selection of traditional hot dishes which the servers will explain to you, and there is also the option of a salad plate or Zeytinyağlı dishes (usually cooked vegetables served cold covered in olive oil) for vegetarians. Kismet also has a pide oven but this is not always on. Open all year round.
